About us
Your local locksmith team in Queens
A licensed and insured locksmith company offering fast, dependable service to residential and commercial clients across Queens, NY — from door and lock installation to security cameras and car keys.
Our story
From dispatcher to master of the trade
Abbas Locksmith was founded by Riaz, a Queens locksmith who learned the trade from the ground up. After graduating from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2004, he chose locksmith work over law school.
While in college he spent four years as a dispatch manager for a locksmith dispatch company, and during that time he apprenticed under four different locksmiths — each one a specialist:
- Steve Mullen taught him commercial locksmith work.
- Oscar Moreno taught him auto locksmith work.
- Demo Eliades taught him residential locksmith work.
- Donald Malay taught him safe work.
That mix of commercial, auto, residential and safe expertise is still the backbone of how we work today: one team that can handle any lock, key or security problem you bring us.
